Privacy Policy

This explains what Motion Star collects, why, and who else handles it. We try to keep it short because we try to collect little. Questions: [contact email]. Motion Star is run by [company or person's legal name], [address or jurisdiction].

What stays in your browser

• Skins you upload and resource packs you upload are read in your browser. They are not uploaded to our servers.
• Presets, saved poses and looks, and your pack library are stored in your browser on this device (local storage and IndexedDB). We don't have a copy, and clearing your browser data removes them. We plan to offer account storage later, and will update this page when we do.

What we collect

• Account details: your name and email, and a password or the sign-in provider you used. Sign-in is handled by Supabase.
• Subscription details: which plan you're on and its status, and an ID that links you to Stripe. Stripe handles your payment details. We don't store your card number.
• Usernames you look up: when you type a Minecraft username into the Pose editor, that name is sent to our server, which asks Mojang's public services for the public skin and passes it back to you. We don't keep a list of lookups, but our hosting provider may log requests as part of normal operation.
• Basic technical data: things like IP address and browser type, in server logs and by our hosting provider, for security and keeping the service running.
• Cookies: we use cookies to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies. [Confirm if analytics are added later.]

How we use it

• To run your account and give you the plan you pay for.
• To take payments and manage your subscription.
• To keep Motion Star secure, fix problems and answer your messages.
• To email you about your account or billing. [Add marketing email wording only if we send any.]

We don't sell your personal information.

Who else handles it

• Supabase: sign-in and account data.
• Stripe: payments and billing.
• [Hosting provider]: runs the website and the skin lookup.
• Mojang: receives the username when you use the skin lookup.

Your choices

• You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [contact email].
• You can cancel your subscription from Billing in your account menu.
• You can remove presets and packs yourself any time, in the editors or by clearing your browser data.

How long we keep it

Children
